Lead Network Infrastructure Architect
Key Responsibilities
* Architecture Assessment: Assess the current-state environment alongside corporate architecture standards, design patterns, constraints, and infrastructure dependencies.
* Requirements Gathering: Engage with regional operations, joint venture partners, security teams, management consultants, and manufacturing application stakeholders to capture and validate complex requirements.
* Coexistence & Isolation Design: Design architecture solutions that address the coexistence of joint venture and corporate-only entities, explicitly defining permitted and prohibited connectivity paths.
* Full-Stack Infrastructure Integration: Evaluate and document architecture considerations spanning LAN, wireless, firewalls, load balancing, extranet connectivity, macro/micro-segmentation boundaries, Red Hat compute platforms, and NetApp storage dependencies.
* Governance & Documentation: Participate in formal architecture reviews, update documentation based on feedback, and maintain records of assumptions, risks, decisions, and implementation dependencies.
* International Coordination: Coordinate and share information with European resources and cross-functional teams supporting local deployment activities.
Qualifications
* Senior-level network architecture expertise within large enterprise and manufacturing environments.
* Proven track record navigating joint venture separations, divestitures, extranets, or highly complex network isolation scenarios.
* Experience working with European regional operations and international stakeholders is highly valued.
Technical Skills
* Cisco & LAN Architecture: Expert knowledge of Cisco switching, enterprise LAN architecture, Cisco SDA fabric architecture, and advanced network segmentation principles.
* Network Edge & Security: Strong architecture experience utilizing Palo Alto firewalls and F5 load balancers.
* Platform Dependencies: Ability to integrate Red Hat compute platforms and NetApp storage environments into the overarching network fabric.
Professional Attributes
* Global Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a remote capacity across multiple time zones and travel internationally when approved.
* Communication & Facilitation: Exceptional stakeholder facilitation, technical diagramming, and executive-level communication skills.
